Piedmont Police Department

Mission Statement


To maintain peace and order by providing high quality police services that are responsive to the needs of the community.  We attempt to protect the life and property by apprehending those who commit criminal actions; by developing partnerships to prevent, reduce, or eliminate neighborhood problems; and by providing police services that are fair and respectful of the dignity of all individuals.  Our police officers strive to attain the highest level of honesty, integrity, and professionalism possible.





The Piedmont Police Department consists of 10 full-time officers and 6 reserve officers who provide 24 / 7 coverage to the citizens of Piedmont, covering approximately 43 square miles.

On behalf of the employees of the Piedmont Police Department, we would like to thank the citizens of Piedmont for supporting us in our endeavors to make this community a safe place to visit, and a safe place for residents to live and raise their families.
