Tom Linn
Police Chief

Chief Tom M.E. Linn earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Central Oklahoma.  While pursuing his degree, Chief Linn’s initial professional employment was through the J.C. Penney Company Management Program.  Later, he began his law enforcement career with the Norman Police Department.  Chief Linn promoted to sergeant and was placed in charge of personnel and training.  Upon receipt of his degree, Chief Linn was appointed as a special agent for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).  During Chief Linn’s FBI career, he served in the Foreign Counter Intelligence and Violent Crimes and Major Offenses (VCMO) programs.  Additionally, he was selected to serve four years as an FBI Academy instructor specializing in firearms and tactics.  Chief Linn served his last twelve years in the Oklahoma Division.  During this period, he work VCMO matters and provided firearms and tactical training to Oklahoma law enforcement officers and FBI special agents.

Following Chief Linn’s retirement from the FBI, he was employed as a deputy sheriff, a special agent for the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI), a special investigator, under contract, for the U.S. Office of Personnel Management, the Department of Homeland Security and he was a police chief.

Chief Linn has received thousands of training hours in homicide investigations, evidence collection, advanced firearms training, tactical instruction, interrogation and interview techniques and many other law enforcement related courses.

Andy Logan
Fire Chief

Andy Logan is a native Piedmont resident and has been with the Piedmont Fire Department since 1996. He was named Fire Chief July of 2010. Andy is a graduate of Piedmont High School and currently resides in Piedmont with his wife and two children.

Jennifer Smith
City Clerk/Treasurer

Jennifer Smith is a native Oklahoman and has been an employee since 2003. She graduated from Sayre High School and has attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University. Jennifer has lived in Piedmont since 1997 with her husband and two children.

Arti Patel
Community Development Director

Arti Patel was born and raised in Oklahoma City and attended West Moore High School. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a B.B.A in Finance and Masters in Regional and City Planning. Before coming to Piedmont Arti worked with the City of Oklahoma City for almost two years. There she gained tremendous knowledge in different aspects of planning. She is also a member of the American Planning Association.

Bud Stuber
Public Works Supervisor

Bud Stuber has been with the Public Works Department since January 1992. He has a Class C Certification in Water and a Class D Certification in Wastewater and has received the Employee of the Year in 2003 and 2006. He was also awarded the Oklahoma Rural Water Operator of the Year in 1998. Bud has lived in Piedmont since 1984 and lives here with his two children.
