Michael J. Vaughn is the current City Manager. He was previously the City Clerk/Treasurer for the City of Piedmont since June 2003 and was appointed City Manager in December of 2006. He as a native Oklahoman who graduated from Ponca City High School and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Central Oklahoma. Michael is a Certified Public Accountant who previously worked for an Edmond CPA firm and has many years of management experience. He has resided in the Piedmont area for the past five years.
Michael Vaughn is professionally associated with and is a member of the Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants, The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, City Management Associations of Oklahoma and Municipal Clerks, and Treasurers and Finance Officers of Oklahoma.
He and his wife, Vicki, of 14 years have one son, who attends Piedmont Public Schools.
