Vernon Woods has been a Councilman since April 2009. He has been a resident of Piedmont for more than 22 years.

Vernon and his wife of 44 years, Joan, have 2 children and 5 grandchildren.

Vernon has been in the information technology industry for more than 40 years, and recently retired from IBM.

Vernon was a Piedmont Volunteer Fireman for 5 years, was one of the first nationally registered EMTs on the department, and received several life saving awards.

Jeff Davis was appointed as Councilman/Trustee on May 24, 2004.  Jeff

married Stephanie over 21 years ago and they have three children. He

purchased 30 acres of land in Piedmont over eight years ago where he has

subdivided four lots to add new economic growth to our great city; after

living inside the school district since his oldest child was in second grade

which he now is in his second year of college. His two oldest children have

already graduated from Piedmont High School and one is attending Piedmont

Elementary. He loves the open space and the great schools Piedmont has. Jeff

enjoys spending time outdoors on his property making it a better place to

live, spending time with his family, hunting, and water sports.  Jeff

started Auto Tech Paint and Body, Inc. June 15, 1993, with one location and

built up to four locations in Edmond, Norman, Oklahoma City, Shawnee, and

over the years sold all the locations except his Edmond location.

Hoss Cooley has lived in Piedmont for almost 30 years. He and his wife Ruth have raised two beautiful children who have graduated from Piedmont High School. Hoss has served in the Marines from 1968 to 1972 and has done a tour in Vietnam. He went into the construction trade in 1976 and has been self employed ever since.

Donnie J. Robinson has been a resident of Piedmont for the past 25 years. Married to his wife Janis for 38 years, they have 4 daughters that graduated from Piedmont High School. Four daughters are college graduates. Donnie is a lifetime resident of Canadian County graduating from Mustang High School in 1969. He attended SWOSU and OSU. He was a certified Air Traffic Controller serving in the U.S. Navy for four years & serving one tour of duty in Vietnam. Donnie has worked with youth groups coaching sports for 29 years and served as president of the Piedmont Sports Association. He has been employed by Union Mutual Insurance Company for the past 31 years. He has served as a Piedmont City Councilman for the past ten years and was elected by the council to finish the remaining eight months of Greg Banta's term as Mayor, after his resignation. Donnie serves as a Trustee for the Oklahoma Environmental Authority and serves on the Authority's Executive Committee.
