Thunderstorm Safety Tips

	Secure any lawn furniture and take care of outside pets.
	Be sure to stay tuned to your local news or radio station for current updates.

Be sure you understand the difference between a severe thunderstorm watch and a severe thunderstorm warning.

	Severe Thunderstorm Watch: severe thunderstorms are possible. Be sure to watch the sky and stay tuned to your local radio or television station.
	Severe Thunderstorm Warning: severe thunderstorms are occurring in your area. Take shelter if needed and wait for an announcement that the storm has passed.
