Biography
Jennifer Smith is a native Oklahoman. She grew up in western Oklahoma in the town of Sayre. She attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University and made Piedmont her home in 1997. Jennifer has been employed with the City of Piedmont since 2003 and has been the City Clerk/Treasurer since 2009. Jennifer recently completed her Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership from the University of Central Oklahoma. During her time at the City of Piedmont she has been involved in various projects and events. In 2016 she worked on the TSET grant for a portion of the Piedmont Park Project that has been built. She has served as the United Way Coordinator for the city. She is also a Certified Municipal Official with the Oklahoma Municipal League. She has been continually committed to each event sponsored by the City of Piedmont. The Mayor’s Christmas Tree lighting, Freedom Fest and our newest event Flock Fest.
Jennifer and her husband Craig have raised their two children in the Piedmont community and proud to be Piedmont Wildcats!!
