Biography
Chief Scott Singer began his law enforcement career as a Security Specialist in the United States Air Force Reserve in 1972. In 1974 he was hired by the University Of Oklahoma Heath Science Center as a patrolman. After serving with the OUPD HSC, he served as an investigator with the office of the Chief Medical Examiner. Later he served with the City of Mustang prior to being hired by the City of Moore in 1978.

Chief Singer served as a patrolman, detective, supervisor, and PIO, having been involved in numerous events including tornadoes, homicides, and violent crime.
Cleveland County Sheriff's Office
In 2008, Chief Singer became employed by the Cleveland County Sheriff's Office as a patrolman. Chief Singer rose through the ranks, becoming a Captain in charge of investigations. While with the CCSO, Chief Singer was accepted as part of a multi-jurisdictional hostage/ crisis negotiations team.
Piedmont Police Department
In 2014, Chief singer sought the Chief's position in Piedmont, where he hopes to bring about a positive change in the relationship between the Police Department and the citizenry it serves. Piedmont is privileged to have a Chief with 42 years of Law Enforcement experience.
Family
Chief singer has been married to his wife Diana for more than 30 years, has two daughters and three grandsons.
