Valorie Cumming has worked for the City of Piedmont since 2015 and oversees the municipal court operations.  Her commitment to making the system easily accessible and user friendly have resulted in significant achievements.  Notably she helped play a role in positioning Piedmont as one of the pioneering municipal courts to embrace a fully paperless approach.  Furthermore, her innovative mindset led to the development of the city’s virtual court system in response to the challenges brought about by the pandemic.

Since 2017, Valorie has been on the Oklahoma Municipal Court Clerks Association Board.  With her commitment in mind she was able to help create the virtual training program and the establishment of a dynamic social media page.  Both of which have significantly expanded the organization’s outreach and impact among its members.

 Valorie holds a bachelor of science degree from the University of Houston and proudly supports her alma mater with a spirited “Go Coogs!”  She also is a certified court clerk and diligently working towards achieving master certification.

Following her academic journey Valorie and her husband returned to her Oklahoma roots, embracing Piedmont to raise their family.  You will normally find her family out on one of their home building job sites or at a community event.
